Put that Boom Into Your Bass with Subwoofers

Want to put that 'boom boom pow' back into your bass? Investing in a good set of subwoofers certainly could get that bass really going in your car.
Car audio specialists sell a wide range of 'subs'. They come in a range of sizes, from 8" inches up to 18" inches. Generally, the larger the subwoofer, the better the volume, so if you like intense volume to go with your intense bass, then a large sub is the best option for you. These beasts will need a powerful amp to power them; otherwise you risk a loss of quality sound and you could even risk losing your stereo. Without these amps, you may risk under powering your subs and your stereo, causing a whole host of problems.
When probing the car audio market, you should consider first of all the practical things. For instance, how much space you actually have in your car. Remember your subwoofer will not only need space, but there has to be enough space for the subwoofer enclosure too. Most car audio fanatics put their subs in their boot, as a boot can hold much bigger subwoofers, however, you might not want to compromise your boot space, especially if you are not a light traveler. If so, you will have to consider installing smaller subs in the main compartment of the car.
Although larger subs are best for volume and overall quality, you could still get a high quality sound by purchasing much smaller subwoofers. Car audio specialists often recommend square subwoofers for pure volume, whilst, rounded subwoofers provide overall a much purer sound experience. You could even, pair up a small and a large subwoofer to really get that bass booming.
A sub will add that little extra to your music that normal speakers cannot. They will let you hear the bass that normally is inaudible when using normal speakers. Not only will be able to hear your bass, but you will be able to play that bass very loudly indeed.
