Car Barracuda Concept

Barracuda Concept
Created by Brazilian designer Rafael Reston, the Barracuda Concept is a sportscar that follows the American Muscle Car revival trend and takes inspiration from the 1971 Plymouth model.

The 'Cuda' Concept is inspired by the 1971 Plymouth Barracuda and is defined by its designer Rafael Reston as a "real and original american muscle car."

The Cuda Concept was created to following the current trend of reestyling, iniated by Ford Mustang, and followed by GM Camaro, Dodge Challenger.
Among the design details are the very high belt line, 22-inches aluminum wheels and some styling cues that remind of the Mustang by Giugiaro concept car, such as the front end layout and the orange-black color scheme.

Most of the body panels, including the hood, spoilers and side panels, are in carbon fiber. The 2+2 coupe project is based on the Chrysler 300M platform, and is powered by a V8 Hemi Engine.

Gemballa Avalanche GTR 650 EVO-R

The Gemballa AVALANCHE GTR 650 EVO-R comes to us courtesy of GEMBALLA Automobiltechnik GmbH & Co. KG, a German tuner which tries to expand the simple song and dance number that is the Porsche 911 turbo into a full-fledged musical extravaganza.

Hurricane, typhoon, tornado...no, let's call this one the avalanche. And what exactly is the analogy to the car here of a multi-ton pile of snow that comes down on you? Hey, has anyone ever measured the horsepower readings of an avalanche?

In any case, this is a facelift and the main points to note are the new, specially-designed butterfly doors and front headlights borrowed from the current Carrera GT. Updated are also the the LED taillights from the most recent facelifted 911 and a new carbon fiber rear skirt with integrated diffuser for the quad-pipes of the aluminum sport exhaust system.

But the Gemballa AVALANCHE GTR 650 EVO-R is still a marvel of tuning with its custom made bonnet and side skirts and other parts forged from metal and welded to the body shell. Leonberg-based Gemballa also makes use of carbon fiber parts to keep the weight down such as with the front lip and wings.

Performance stays the same at 650 hp (478 kW) and 950 Nm of torque maxing out at 6,200 and 4,600 rpm, respectively. 0 to 100 km/h for the all-wheel drive AVALANCHE GTR 650 EVO-R clocks in a 3.4 seconds and top speed is a breezy 332 km/h.

Carlsson C25 Preview

German tuning company Carlsson has presented a preview of the C25, a super GT based on the SL65 AMG Black Series and powered by a 753 hp 6.0 liter V12 engine. It will feature an in-house developed design and will be produced in a limited series of 25 units.
Carlsson C25 Rendering
The C25 will be the first in-house developed car for German company Carlsson, specialized in Mercedes-Benz tuning.

The new super GT will be powered by the 6.0 V12 engine that is adopted on the SL65 AMG Black Series, which in this edition delivers 753 hp and 1320 Nm at 3750 rpm.

The 0-100 km/h acceleration takes just 3.7 seconds and the top speed is 352 km/h.

The C25 will debut at the 2010 Geneva Motor Show and will be produced in a limited series of 25 units, each tailored to the specific customer's requirements.

Carlsson C25 Rendering

"We exclusively make the cars to order and the delivery quantity for 2010 is already sold out", says CEO, Dipl. Ing. (FH) Markus Schuster.

Among the technical highlights is the C-Tronic Suspension lowering system, which automatically recognises the road characteristics and driving manners and constantly adjusts the suspension setting accordingly.

The original design is characterized by the elongated front end with the tapered lobe between the powerful shoulders which craves ahead and the generously dimensioned air inlets in the typical Carlsson trapezoid form which supply the engine with the necessary ventilation.
Carlsson C25 Design Sketches
The ultra-light and forged wheels 1/10 UL in the dimensions 9,5x20 and 12x20 inches have been specifically designed for the C25 and are equipped with high performance tyres measuring 265/30 at the front and 325/25 at the rear live axle.

One wheel just weighs 11.2 kilograms and is 40 percent lighter than custom light alloy wheels.
The brake system has 405 mm race discs at the front and 380 mm race discs at the rear.
The elongated flat rear screen and the restrained tearing edge on the boot lit as well as the generously dimensioned double diffuser render the required downthrust and therefore the C25 does not need any extensible spoilers.

In order to emphasise the uniqueness of the C25, Carlsson has also developed a new rear- and front lights design.

Inside, the characteristic trapezoid elements at the front and back are also found on the steering wheel. On the seats and the centre console the edged shape is used as well.
Among the high quality materials used are real carbon, tanned buffalo leather and ultra-suede in special colours.

Aston Martin DB-ONE Concept

Aston Martin DB-ONE Concept
The Aston Martin DB-ONE is an original interpretation of the classic sportscar theme. The author is Ruben Vela, who has a Master Degree in Automotive Design at the Polytechnic University (Valencia, Spain).

The DB-ONE Concept is a proposal for an extreme Aston Martin, with a design of that combines the classical style typical of Aston Martin's sportscars with ultramodern surfaces, to get as a result "a fresh vehicle that also represents all the tradition of the brand."
The author is Ruben Vela, a Spanish designer who received a Master Degree in Automotive Design in 2006 at the Polytechnic University in Valencia.
Aston Martin DB-ONE by Ruben Vela
Its proportions give it a lot of dynamism, keeping the elegance but increasing the emotions.
"To design this car, I have taken the D.N.A. of Aston Martin (which are the big front grille, the long bonnet and the side grilles) and I have re-designed it to obtain a fresh product" explains Ruben.
Aston Martin DB-ONE by Ruben Vela Aston Martin DB-ONE by Ruben Vela

The front grille has been increased becoming the most important element of the front view, and starting all the tension that goes from the front to the rear of the car.
The main characteristic in this project is the dynamism. The line tension and the body surfaces show all the power of the car even when it is parked.
"Cars aren't static objects, so I believe it's important to show dynamism in the design. And this is much more important when you are designing a super-sports car."

We can see the direction and the line tension in the side surfaces, in the top view and especially in the rear part of the car.
This part is very clean thanks to the gap that contains the taillights, and thanks to the rear diffuser that reduces the visual weight in the rear.
"The DB-ONE Concept has been specially designed to excite, and not only if you are the lucky man who is driving it."
"But if you could drive this two seats super-car you will feel integrated in it because the dashboard wraps you, and the glass-roof makes you feel like being inside a F-15, feeling the power pushing your back."

Fenix Supercar M14 and M15 - New Noble Supercar

Fenix Supercar M14
Although the man has been separated from the consort that bears his study for a while now, as we revealed when PH interviewed Lee Noble before Christmas he's still hornlike at work in the business of producing sports cars. Despite having mitt his namesake British supercar consort Noble Automotive, Lee Noble is backwards in the mettlesome and plans to begin utilization on an all-new supercar.

His new consort is called Fenix Automotive and the prototypal Fenix is designed to be a lightweight, mid-engine coupe that can capture a sub-seven-second 0 to 100 mph. The car module feature a powerful V8 engine and is intended to be ‘one of the most hammy supercars of the century’ thanks in part to the medium price tag of 75,000 pounds (app. $125K). Noble also mentioned an interesting feature that module attain the prototypal Fenix applicatory both on agency and track, though apparently didn’t elaborate from there.

Fenix Supercar M15
The Fenix supercar prototype is currently in build at Fenix's artefact in South Africa, and the automobile will do its initial hot-weather testing there before heading to the UK for further development.

\"The M12 was hugely successful, but we needed to move the game on in terms of design,\" says Noble. \"The new car's styling owes nothing to what I've done before and has quite literally been a 'clean sheet' exercise from the start. It's edgy, with powerful lines, and aerodynamically will be in another association to any of my previous cars.\"

 Fenix Supercar M15
But despite Noble's protestations of a clean-sheet design, we can't help but conceive of the Fenix as the hoped for progeny to the sharp, focused, track-honed M12 series, and that's no intense thing. That the looks seem to bear a expiration resemblance to the stillborn M14 and M15 is farther from a tragedy, too. The Fenix will be powered by an LS3 GM V8 pumping discover 480bhp, patch the truly noesis famished crapper specify the 638bhp LS9 V8 as seen in the Corvette ZR1. Fenix reckons that the LS9-engined car should accelerate from 0-100mph in under seven seconds and hit a maximum of 200mph.

 Fenix Supercar M15

\"I always said I wanted to build a automobile with the performance of an Enzo for less than £100k, and that's what I'll deliver this time round,\" said Noble when we interviewed him, and it looks like he might manage it. The base help is due to cost around £70k, with the emotional version ordered to come in at less than £100k.

BMW Vision Efficient - Dynamics Concept

Bayerische Motoren Werke's engineering prowess is long established, as is its well-worn rep as purveyors of 'ultimate driving machines.' With its EfficientDynamics program, BMW is drawing from its considerable expertise in an try to continue to develop engaging, sports-themed cars while at the same instance improving the efficiency of its vehicles through the ingest of new technologies.

The BMW Vision EfficientDynamics Concept is designed and billed as the eventual countenance of BMW's aborning strategy. The Vision features seemingly every high-tech, lightweight, and aerodynamic gimmick the company has developed in an all-out try to improve efficiency. And of course, BMW also says the Vision is designed to have an exhilarating driving experience. The end result is a lightweight, 2+2 coupe powered by a plug-in organism drivetrain that BMW says develops a amount production of 356 horsepower.

One look at the Vision and its country BMW has created a vehicle that goes way beyond today's hybrid. Case it point, the exterior, which employs modern layering technology to layer the different pieces of the Vision's bodywork over each other. The impact smooths discover joints and seams and help to turn the number of coverall components. The wild bits and pieces jutting off the automobile are every there for a reason. At the front, the A-pillars are designed to guide air around the greenhouse where a wrap-around spoiler, fin-like side fenders and blade-like taillights every duct the airflow off the back of the automobile to in an try to further minimize turbulence and drag.

The aerodynamic tricks aren't limited to obvious body modifications, either. Underneath, the entire venter of the automobile is uncreased and flat to derogate drag. Up front, active louvers in the fascia close when the airflow to the radiator isn't needed, streamlining the face of the car. Below them, small ducts in the expose barrier direct expose through special passageways and discover into the face wheel wells, creating a high-velocity curtain of expose over the face wheels that BMW says aids stability.

The wheels themselves are also designed for mechanics with the profiles of the individualist spokes designed to revilement cleanly through the expose and, again, derogate disorder and drag. Despite their large size, the wheels are wrapped in 195/55 narrow, low-profile tires to derogate actuation resistance. To keep the handling sporty, they're wrapped around 21-in. wheels that help give the tires a large contact patch, one that is longer than it is panoramic for bottom twine resistance. All told, the Vision slips through the expose with exclusive a 0.22 coefficient of drag, significantly better than the 2010 Toyota Prius' 0.25.

Electric Car Tango T600 Simple Design

Simple Electric car Tango T600 design Simple Design Electric car Tango T600

This design simple electric car tango is nice car with red color. The Tango T600 is an electric car by Commuter Cars of Washington. It’s quite an odd car even for an electric car, and is about the width of some larger motorcycles.

Seating two in tandem the car is fairly well equipped with racing style seats, air conditioning electric windows, a MoTeC dash, leather trim cruise control and a fairly decent stereo system. It has decent performance too with the ability of Zero to 60mph (100 klm) in four seconds and has can accelerate through the standing 1/4 mile in 12 seconds at over 120 mph (190 kph).

Range is also expected to be up to 80 Miles (130 Klm) so this car seems pretty darn good performance wise for an electric car, so what’s the catch? Well firstly you have to get use to the love it or hate it styling, personally we hate it.

I know the skinny size of the car is suppose to make it more nimble in traffic but there is something about it that makes it look weird, the next issue is the price tag, which is $108,000.

The companies web site talks up the benefits and costs per mile of their electric vehicle compared to a standard car but we recon if you got 108k to pay for a car the cost per mile probably doesn’t matter too much.

The company does have future plans for 2 cheaper models at approx $40k and $19k so we might hold off on our final judgment unit these cars are developed.
