Acura ZDX - Car Concept

At the New York Auto Show Acura has unveiled the ZDX Concept, a premium crossover that blends styling elements from a coupe, a sedan and a SUV and offers a luxurious and flexible interior. The production version will go on sale in Fall 2009.
Debuting at the 2009 New York Auto Show, the ZDX was designed to explore new possibilities for the Acura brand, blurring the distinction between coupe, sedan and sport utility vehicle.
The design is characterized by a sharply raked roofline and bold fender flares; flowing lines start from the headlights and run the length of the car.
In keeping with the coupe-inspired styling, the rear door handles are concealed in the C-pillar.
The all-glass tailgate opens wide to reveal a highly functional cargo space with integrated under-floor storage.
Acura ZDX ConceptFrom the very first sketch of the ZDX, I wanted to create an emotional vehicle that challenged conventional thinking of what a sports coupe should be,” said Michelle Christensen, ZDX exterior designer.

Some young designers from London's Royal College of Art (RCA) have created a series of remarkable 'Bentleys of the Future' designs in partnership with the British company.

Eighteen Vehicle Design Course Masters students have spent the last few months studying the work of Bentley's leading designers, including Head of Exterior Design Raul Pires who played a key role designing the company's new Mulsanne flagship.

Drawing on Bentley's proud design heritage. they have sought to develop a range of futuristic car designs.
Now four of the RCA students have been shortlisted to refine their designs with Pires and his colleagues with a winner and runner-up both being invited to join the Crewe-based company for a six month secondment in the Bentley design studio.

Professor Dale Harrow, Head of Vehicle Design at the RCA explained: "Working with Bentley has inspired these young designers to create a coupe for the 21st Century that embraces the latest aerodynamics technology.
"The Vehicle Design Course attracts postgraduate students from across the world and it has been fascinating to see them make a connection with a British marque that has such a distinguished heritage."
A key part of the project has been the ability to combine strong visual design with the latest automotive software. Each car design has undergone extensive testing in a virtual wind tunnel to assess and enhance its aerodynamic capabilities. Professor Harrow added:
"We've had support from Exa and their PowerFLOW software which was used to create cars like the Bentley Continental Supersports.

Koenigsegg CCR Design - Sport Car Concept

Koenigsegg CCR Design Sport Car Concept
Koenigsegg's organisation seeks to provide an rendering of strength and flowing motion. The embody of a Koenigsegg is formed for digit ultimate purpose; speed. Its beauty is the beauty of pace itself. The surfaces are formed to perfectly aerodynamic, an appearance that does not deceive. All aspects of this organisation help its digit basic objective. Both the embody and chassis of a Koenigsegg are prefabricated of extremely lightweight copy material composite, reinforced with Kevlar and metal honeycomb. Its race-bred suspension grouping brings the utility in control of every movement, even low the toughest racing conditions.

The car was styled by Christian von Koenigsegg himself but its shape is largely dictated by aerodynamics. It is not as striking as Pagani or Enzo. At some angles it even looks bulky, like a big whale. But the whale delivers a significance of power that you can't find in its rivals either. Because of the targeted crowning speed, the embody is designed to be so smooth that it has a very low drag coefficient of 0.30. This is much lower than Enzo (0.36), SLR (0.37) and Carrera GT (0.39). Unsurprisingly, the downside is a kinda low downforce, just 50kg at the front and 70kg at the back. For comparison, an Enzo generates 775kg while Pagani achieves 500kg.

The chassis is constructed like another supercars. Central to it is a carbon-fiber tub (Koenigsegg titled it \"semi-monocoque\") attached with steel subframe up front and metal subframe at the side for mounting engine, casing and suspensions. Chassis rigidity is 28,100Nm per degree despite of the targa roof. The whole bodyshell is also carbon-fiber. Koenigsegg claims a dry weight of 1175kg, which translates to 1275kg when fluid and fuel are loaded, i.e., what we commonly intend to \"kerb weight\". In another words, CC8S is about as light as Pagani and Saleen S7, while being around 100 kilograms lighter than Enzo and Carrera GT.

The new set of images show in more detail the design of the Ferrari Enzo Modulo, a concept created by designer Paolo Martin as a modern rivisitation of his iconic Modulo dream car.

Compared to the original Modulo, characterized by the low height, lenticular-shaped profile, clean surfaces, the Enzo Modulo has a more dynamic look, with large exposed rear wheels visually framed by muscular wheel-arches, which break the almost-perfect simmetry of the iconic Modulo and - combined with a number of air-intake and grilles - contribute to an aggressive and performance-oriented appearance.

It however maintains the trademark proportions (about 4.5 meters in lenght, under 1 meter of height and over 2 meters in width), the large glass surfaces, the color scheme and the overall almost sci-fi look.

2010 Ford GT90 Super Sport Car Concept going to auction

If Ford first introduced the GT90 Concept at the 2010 city Auto Show next month, it would ease be one of the most eyecatching cars on the exhibit floor. What's awful is that Ford unveiled the GT40 successor nearly 15 years ago. What's more, even by today's standards it's ease a supercar among supercars.

The quad-turbocharged 6.0-litre V12 puts out an estimated 720 horsepower, the body is constructed completely of carbon material and top pace is somewhere in the 400 rate range. The only hints that it's not a modern supercar are the all-blue inland and wheels that look dated now.

So what's every the fuss about the GT90 Concept now? RM Auctions in the States has meet declared that it module be substance the construct automobile at its upcoming Arizona sale. That's right, this is your quantity to possess one of the coolest construct vehicles of every time. This is the first instance that the GT90 Concept has ever been publicly for sale at auction, and RM claims that it is in \"excellent running condition, having been properly stored and maintained over the year.\" No estimated on price is given, but we're guessing it module verify a super suitcase of cash to verify the automobile home.

The one-off GT90 Concept Car, labeled directly as \"the world's mightiest supercar\" by author Motor Company on December 6, 1994, was the spiritual progeny to the author GT40, the product of a large feud in the early 1960s between the Blue Oval from Dearborn and the Prancing Horse of Northern Italy. The GT90 draws from the organisation cues of its heritage and pays homage to the notable Le Mans-winning author GT40s of the 1960s, which were created after the failed endeavor by author to acquire out Ferrari.
At a development cost in the neighborhood of $3 million, the GT90 was certainly worthy of pulling styling cues from the original author GTs, and although it was never meant for production, it was shapely according to a author press release as a \"test bed for technology, field and organisation concepts, and driver-oriented features that yet may be used in author creation vehicles.\"

Officially unveiled to the public in January 1995 at the Detroit Auto Show, the GT90 is ended in bright white with a bright blue and copy fiber interior. It features a mid engine quad-turbocharged V12 that produces an estimated 720 H.P. and 660 pound-feet of torque. As a result, it had a claimed top speed of 253 mph, which even by today's standards would attain it digit of the fastest creation cars in the world – faster even than a McLaren F1, which was widely thoughtful the world's preeminent supercar at the time.

The engine, which was a 48-valve six-liter V12, had to be combined unitedly with quaternary Garrett Systems T2 turbochargers in order to reach its estimated 720 H.P. and was based on the Ford Modular engine. Created by using parts of digit attorney V8 engines, engineers removed the last pair of cylinders from the rear of digit engine and the first pair of cylinders from the front of the another engine. The cut-down engines were then welded unitedly with the test termination existence a 90-degree V12, which used a 90.2 mm eager and a 77.3 mm attack to achieve maximum power.

The GT90 features the FFD-Ricardo five-speed manual gearbox found on the XJ220 and, considering the torque alluviation that it is fashioned to handle, is noted as having a relatively reddened shift quality. Also borrowed from the XJ220 comes the every around threefold furcula suspension that was fashioned to enable the car to appendage well at top speeds.

Using Ford's new \"Edge\" organisation philosophy, the automobile merged advanced profession with a variety of flat planes, angles, render and triangular shapes that seemingly all collided together. The GT90 was the first automobile created using this new styling directive from Ford, which went on to be responsible for the creation of other author products same the Ka and Cougar. The effect is most awesome and a wonderfully executed stylistic throwback to its GT40 predecessor, which at erst stays true to its heritage but acknowledges the advances in modern design. Taken directly from vie automobile technology, the GT90 embody panels are formed discover of copy fiber patch the chassis is formed discover of a honey-comb divided aluminum monocoque.

The GT90 is a test bed of advanced profession and design. It sports a tinted, laminated render bubble over the cockpit and a spoiler that rises off the side embellish at broad speeds. According to Ford, it has a \"design that tightly enclosed its mechanicals with no wasted space; broad tech illumination and blind-spot detection systems; and tiles same those on the space shuttle to shield the V12's wear outlets.\"

After its unveiling in Detroit, the GT90 made its rounds on the Auto Show Circuit in 1995, traveling around the concern to Frankfurt and as far away as Tokyo. With some another showings in between, the automobile recently was shipped over to aggregation to be on pass in the author of aggregation 2008 exhibit at the Goodwood Festival of Speed. After backward home, the automobile was shipped to Muskogean where it was on pass as part of the Mustang 45th Anniversary Celebration.

This superior concept automobile remains in excellent running condition, having been properly stored and maintained over the years in between its show appearances. RM Auctions is proud to publicly offer the GT90 for the first time ever at auction. A remarkable one-off piece of automotive history and cutting-edge design, its substance haw very substantially be a erst in a period possibleness for author devotees and concept automobile enthusiasts.

Cool Design Style Cirbin V13R Motorcycle

Cool design style Cirbin V13R motorcycleConcept Cool design style Cirbin V13R motorcycle
Taking the best of a car and a motorcycle and merging them together always brings up the question. Cirbin has done just that by taking a Harley-Davidson V-Rod and added a extra tire and seats and replacing the handlebars with a steering wheel.

The look of the Cirbin is quite unique and will certainly have many people asking if this vehicle is really more car or motorcycle. But to those that get a chance to own one of these, the question will probally not matter.

Just by the styling of the of the V13R, we can bet that people will flock to this and want one for themselves. The only thing that will stop all the gawkers from owning one of these is the price range starting at $40,000 dollars.

With the styling of the V13R reminding me of the old style racing cars, it seems to show it’s speed just even sitting. The flow of the body to the rear wheel is done with a show of chrome that most bikers will love.

Mercedes-Benz BlitzenBenz construct automobile Production assemblage theoretical 2025. Brilliant and outstanding is what every automobile lover module exclaim when module see this BlitzenBenz construct car. The Mercedes-Benz BlitzenBenz construct was created by George Yoo, a designer at Mercedes-Benz Research and Development in Carlsbad, California. The BlitzenBenz was matured during his final assemblage at the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena.

Mercedes-Benz BlitzenBenz concept car

Created by George Yoo as a futuristic racing vehicle, BlitzenBenz concept is derivative from two assorted sources. And permit me tell you the roots of its organisation are in the past. The important inspiration behind the intent is from original Blitzen-Benz from 1909 that had a long tubular shape and rear cab positioning. On the other, Alex Erlandson work of creating sculptures from trees that were grown into destined shapes/patterns influenced Yoo considerably to contemplate what if automotive parts were to be grown and tamed to hold destined shapes.

Mercedes-Benz BlitzenBenz concept car

Obviously the profession is not quite there yet to create such a vehicle, but the underway investigate into nanotechnology is covering the artefact for intelligent and adaptable components which can be grown instead of manufactured. It's an unbelievably engrossing prospect which would completely edit the artefact cars are built, maintained, upgraded and recycled.

Mercedes-Benz BlitzenBenz concept car

The exterior design is a base for the organic structure and the individual rotate pods are there to sense as to when the inside automobile motors need to be cooled down. When the cooling module be required, these structures module open up in the same artefact as the plants do to receive the vital sunlight.

Mercedes-Benz BlitzenBenz concept car

To run this Mercedes-Benz BlitzenBenz, there is an advanced next-generation Hygenius organism gas engine and quaternary in-wheel automobile motors. The inspiration for the blue lightening system came from bioluminescent capabilities of deep sea creatures. Also, a gas storage tank is just beneath the cockpit and the fuel level is shown in a small window.

Though, woefully, there is no technology to make this vehicle as such, but the progressing investigate into nanotechnology module sure unstoppered the way for components that can be grown than manufactured, changing the way cars module be built or maintained in future.
