Nissan LEAF polar bear commercial

The New all electric Nissan Leaf debuted a new commercial.
The Nissan LEAF polar bear commercial has received a considerable amount of press.
The LEAF is the first zero-emissions all-electric car available at an affordable price point. The cuddly bear is seen traversing cities, and ends the commercial by hugging someone who owns a leaf.
Rush Limbaugh says “The polar bear with tears in its eyes gives the frightened owner of the Nissan a hug. For supposedly doing something to save the polar bear. What do you think about the Nissan LEAF polar bear commercial?

While Nissan's 2011 Leaf electric car hardly is as cute as the cuddly polar bear in the new TV ad, above, for the battery car, Leaf does have some engaging and appealing attributes. Leaf's not unique. Chevy says you can pre-heat or -cool Volt's interior, too, for example. What you'd pay for fuel depends on what you pay for electricity to recharge an electric's battery pack. Only time Leaf would lose the comparison, Nissan says, is if gas were to drop to $1.10 a gallon or less. Nationwide average Wednesday was $2.717 per gallon for regular, 14.5 cents more than a year ago, according to AAA's fuelguagereport.com, which tracks daily average fuel prices.

Keep in mind that power plants use some kind of fuel to generate the electricity, so your electric car is, in effect, fueled by whatever the utility companies are burning. In some areas, nearly all the juice comes from coal-fired plants, meaning what you thought was a zero-emission car could be a sulfur-emissions-causing, coal-powered buggy.

First Leaf EVs (Leafs? Leaves?) Those places have aggressive public-charging programs. Nationwide by this time next year, Nissan says.

Nissan is stumping the countryside providing potential buyers with Leaf test drives, so some dealers probably won't even have demonstrators.
Last week, Nissan debuted the commercial titled “Polar Bear” which showcases the car manufacturer’s affordable zero-emission 100-percent electric vehicle, LEAF.

Volkswagen Passat Europe First Drive Reviews

The Volkswagen Passat is not a glamorous car. A business commuter. A family workhorse. Volkswagen, the undisputed master of middle-class market domination, has shifted 15 million Passats on the basis of this sturdy reputation since the car was launched in 1973

Fortunately the seventh generation of the "Volkswagen Passat" pulls no punches. The freshening up continues inside though, where the car gets a revised dashboard, new trim finishes and a gently updated centre console. To say the Volkswagen Passat wafts is an overstatement, but the car does exhibit a whisper quiet sense of transit. With fleet sales likely to dominate the Passat's end-of-year figures expect the SE version to be the volume seller. The standard spec list adds iPod connectivity, a DAB radio, Bluetooth connectivity and even a fatigue detection system.

The mainstream opposition from Ford and Vauxhall is certainly to be respected, but VW will be counting on the Volkswagen Passat superior interior quality and better refinement to snare the punters. That and the sterling reputation the model has for reliable, unflustered and inconspicuous service.

Beneath the new tinsel, the seventh-generation car remains a worthy testament to that mentality.
Visual ties between everyone else’s new Passat and the previous car are obvious. The daylight opening, with its BMW-like kink, carries over, and the wheelbase remains virtually identical. The new Passat's somewhat bulky front grille and lighting units evoke the Phaeton, as do the taillights. In Europe, the new car also is available as a station wagon called the Volkswagen Passat Variant.

Perhaps the most surprising is the extremely efficient BlueMotion, powered by a 103-hp, 1.6-liter turbo-diesel. Top speed is 139 mph, and the engine rips the car forward in any gear.
We also drove the 1.8-liter TSI, with a 158-hp gasoline engine coupled to a seven-speed dry dual-clutch gearbox, and it excelled, too. While it doesn't pull as strongly as the 2.0-liter diesel, we have no reason to doubt VW's modest claim of a 0-to-62-mph sprint in 8.5 seconds and its 137-mph top speed. Fuel economy is 33.6 mpg in the European cycle.
Unfortunately, we didn’t have a chance to drive the uplevel gasoline engines. VW offers the 2.0 TSI, with the 208-hp EA888 engine that's also used in the European GTI. The top-of-the-line model is the V-6 4Motion, with a 300-hp, 3.6-liter VR6, which transmits its power to all four wheels through the six-speed DQ250 wet dual-clutch transmission. This engine was heretofore confined to the Passat R36, a sporty derivative, which is now being killed off. "An R model has no priority" now, says VW engineering chief Dr. Ulrich Hackenberg.

Although the Passat’s PQ46 platform is essentially a variation of the Golf underpinnings, it doesn’t drive that small, instead feeling every bit the bigger car. The power steering is light but nicely weighted, there’s lots of grip, and the stability-control system executes its corrections so quickly that it usually preserves corner-exit speeds.

2010 Mazda RX-8 Review

The heart of the Mazda RX-8 is its high-revving, 1.3-liter rotary engine called the Renesis. This, along with balanced suspension tuning, sharp steering and a svelte 3,000-pound curb weight, makes the rear-wheel-drive "Mazda RX-8" one of the best-handling cars on the market. Current Mazda RX-8
The Mazda RX-8 is a four-seat coupe with a pair of rear-hinged "suicide" doors that ease access to the rear seats. Every Mazda RX-8
is powered by a 1.3-liter twin rotary engine, with an output that depends on the transmission. There are three trim levels available: Sport, Grand Touring and R3. Even the base car comes well equipped with 18-inch wheels, performance tires, cruise control, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and a six-speaker CD stereo with an auxiliary audio jack. The Grand Touring gets a limited-slip rear differential, automatic xenon headlights, a power driver seat, memory functions, heated seats, leather upholstery, automatic climate control, keyless ignition/entry, a Bose stereo, Bluetooth and a navigation system. The R3 is a high-performance variant packing 19-inch wheels, an aggressively tuned suspension, Recaro sport seats, exterior body modifications and some of the other trims' high-tech convenience features.

The rotary engine requires high engine speeds to make serious power, but the delivery is virtually vibration-free and noise levels are subdued. Used Mazda RX-8 Models
Introduced for 2004, the Mazda RX-8 heralded the return of the rotary-powered sports car to the United States after a near decade-long hiatus. Initially, the Mazda RX-8 automatic transmission was a four-speed unit.

The 2010 Mazda RX-8 garners a lot of praise for its superb handling dynamics and roomy backseat, but loses points for having insufficient power and a fuel-thirsty, high-maintenance rotary engine.

Distinguishing itself among competitors, the 2010 Mazda RX-8 features a one-of-a-kind "suicide door" design, roomy backseat and impressive handling. Test drivers, however, report that faults with the 2010 Mazda RX-8 performance spoil the fun. The rotary engine that makes this car unique is its biggest liability, however. The 2010 Mazda RX-8 is offered in four trims: Sport, Touring, Grand Touring and R3.

2010 Buick Enclave Reviews

The 2010 Buick Enclave large crossover SUV comes in CX, CXL1 and CXL2 trim levels. All have a standard seven-passenger seating configuration via second-row captain's chairs and a third-row bench seat. The Buick Enclaves CXL1 adds leather upholstery, heated power front seats (eight-way driver, four-way passenger), driver-seat memory functions, rear parking sensors, remote ignition and a back-up camera with a small rearview-mirror display. The CXL2 tacks on active headlamps, power-folding heated outside mirrors with driver-side auto-dimming and integrated turn signals, a power tilt-telescoping steering wheel, a cooling function for the front seats, a 115-volt power outlet and a 10-speaker Bose surround-sound system with a USB audio jack.

Other Enclave options include a dual-pane "SkyScape" sunroof (not available on CX), a second-row storage console with a 12-volt power outlet (also not available on CX) and towing preparation.

The 2010 Buick Enclave offers a choice of front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. With the optional trailering package, the Enclave can tow up to 4,500 pounds.

Stability control, front-seat side airbags and full-length side curtain airbags are standard on all 2010 Buick Enclaves.

The Buick Enclaves boasts one of the most luxurious and quiet interiors in its class. The Lincoln MKX offers an interior that may be even more luxurious than the Enclave’s. The MKX also offers a slightly better fuel economy rating of 18/25 mpg.

If you absolutely need a three-row SUV, consider the Enclave’s platform-mate, the Chevrolet Traverse.

The Buick Enclaves is available in two trims: the base CX, premium CXL and top-of-the-line CXL2. Trims are available with front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive.

The 2010 Buick Enclave offers many new features with the introduction of new top of the line CXL2, standard 19 inch wheels, optional 20 inch chrome wheels, a USB jack for the optional Bose stereo.

The 2010 Buick enclave crossover SUV is available in three trims CX, CXL1and CXL2.

The mid level CXL1 is gains leather upholstery, driver seat memory functions, heated power front seats, rear parking sensors, back up camera, small rear view mirror display, and remote ignition.

This burly edition offers an estimated fuel economy of 17 mpg city levels, 24 mpg highway and 19 mpg combined for front wheel drive and 16 mpg city levels, 22 mpg highway and 18 mph combined on all wheel drive.

The 2010 Buick enclave is equipped with front seat side airbag, full length side curtain airbag, and stability control.
The 2010 Buick Enclave crossover SUV is ideally designed with upscale interiors and slick exterior styling.

New 2011 Toyota Highlander

There are 2WD and 4WD entry level models, plus the flagship 4WD Limited.

The 2011 Toyota Highlander is powered by a 3.5 litre dual VVT-i petrol engine with an electronically controlled automatic transmission. All models offer driver and passenger front, driver’s knee, front side and three-row curtain shield airbags. An Anti-lock System (ABS) with Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD) and Brake Assist (BA) is standard, as is steering assisted Vehicle Stability Control Plus (VSC ) and Traction Control (TRC).

Inside, the Limited has the added features of dual-zone climate controlled air conditioning, rear climate controlled air conditioning, power front seat adjustment, driver’s seat variable cushion length adjustment, front seat heaters, perforated leather seat trim, four-spoke leather steering wheel with air conditioning controls, leather gearshift lever, stainless steel Highlander scuff plates and a six-disc CD changer.

For 2011, 2011 Toyota Highlander and Highlander Hybrid get updated styling and performance upgrades – plus more competitive pricing. The 2011 Toyota Highlander MSRP starts at $31,500 – its lowest ever and a full $1,750 lower than the base price of the cheapest 2010 models. What's more, the 2011 models come equipped with even more standard features.

Toyota Canada also announced a new value option package for 2011 RAV4. The Touring Extra Value Package includes a power moonroof, unique wheels, an upgraded stereo with steering wheel-mounted audio controls, XM Satellite Radio capability and six-disc CD changer, upgraded cloth seats and more. The first new Lexus to hit Canadian dealerships will be the refreshed 2011 Lexus IS series.

Toyota Highlander utterly dominates its class and sport utility sales have defied market conditions by remaining buoyant - accounting for 20 percent of whole new vehicle market. How many times, Ford, do we have to say it: Diesel, diesel, diesel. Toyota product spokesman Neeraj Lala says there's still a core of customers who, having weighed up running costs and performance differences, still prefer petrol. Amazingly, you need tick the options list to buy what it really needs: Reversing sensors. Out on the road, there's little evidence of big change. Both cars I drove never beat 15L/100km.

Ride quality isn't bad, and the Toyota Australia-tuned suspension provides good control for a car so large, though the electronic driving aids quickly rein in any derring-do, as is the Toyota way.

2011 Chevrolet Volt Review

The 2011 Chevrolet Volt is a midsize five-door hatchback sedan with seating for four.
This June, the Cruze mules will be retired, and for the first time, the Volt’s powertrain will be mated to the Volt body.

“The beauty of the Volt is the size of the battery,” affirms Posawatz. Weighing in at 400 pounds, the lithium-ion pack allows the Volt to travel as far as 40 miles on electric power. (Having a center tunnel in a front-drive car gives the Volt mule’s cabin the feel of one from a rear-wheel-drive vehicle.) Like most traditional electric cars, the Volt will recharge via a wall plug; the engine is simply to get you to your destination when the charge is depleted. VEHICLE TYPE (Chevrolet Cruze–based prototype): front-engine, front-wheel-drive, 4-passenger, 4-door sedan

Although the maximum total power output of the Chevrolet Volt battery pack is 16 kWh, the Volt only uses about 50 percent of the battery’s total power. In the Volt, the battery feeds a 149-hp electric motor that drives the front wheels. The gas engine is never used to charge the battery; the engine turns a generator that directly feeds power to the electric motor. If the engine is revving at 2000 rpm and making 25 hp, the electric motor will be able to make only 25 hp. The upshot: The Volt will be quicker running on battery power than it will be when the gas engine is providing the electricity.

The Premium Trim package adds leather upholstery, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and heated front seats. The Rear Camera and Park Assist package adds a rearview camera and front and rear parking sensors.

The front-wheel-drive 2011 Volt is powered by an electric motor rated at 149 hp (111 kilowatts) and 273 pound-feet of torque. This motor draws power from a lithium-ion battery pack until the battery charge is 70 percent depleted. The battery can only be completely recharged through either a 120-volt or 240-volt outlet, but regenerative braking and the engine generator can replenish it slightly.

Safety features on the "2011 Chevy Volt" include antilock brakes, stability control, front side airbags, front knee airbags and full-length side curtain airbags.
The change-over from battery charge to generator power can be difficult to notice, though the pre-production Volts we've driven do have a disconcerting generator noise level; the engine revs regardless of engine speed.

The 2011 Chevrolet Volt ranks 3 out of 19 Upscale Midsize Cars. Amid industry debate (“It’s an electric car!” “It’s neither!”), Chevrolet has rolled out the Volt. The Volt is neither a hybrid car nor an electric car. Chevrolet calls it an extended range electric vehicle. For those buyers, the Chevrolet Volt is largely an electric car.

If you’re fine with leasing and worried about range, the Volt is the better option.
Next to the Leaf, the Volt’s closest competitor is the Toyota Prius. Using only electric power, for the Volt to cover 15,000 miles would cost about $240 in electricity charges – which means that to offset the Volt’s price premium over the Prius would take over 17 years.

The Chevrolet Volt combines an electric motor, which powers the car for the first 50 miles or so of driving, with a 1.4-liter gasoline-powered engine that acts as a generator, creating electricity for the electric motor once the batteries are depleted. To travel solely on electric power, the Chevrolet Volt must have its batteries charged. Because it has a backup engine that generates electric power, the Chevrolet Volt does not have a limited range between charges like purely electric cars do.

The Chevrolet Volt is being introduced in limited markets at first. In 2011, the Volt will expand to other markets.

2012 Volkswagen Eos La Auto Show 2010

it’s been almost a month we’re hearing about 2012 Volkswagen Eos. However, at 2010 LA Auto Show, the brand has released the complete details, images and the first video.

The "2012 Volkswagen Eos" will be available in four 4-cylinder engine options across Europe. Options include a 1.4 TSI with 122 PS, 1.4 TSI with 160 PS, 2.0 TSI with 200 PS and 210 PS and 2.0 TDI with 140 PS. In the US, however, 2012 Volkswagen Eos will be available in only 2.0-liter 16-valve DOHC turbocharged and intercooled four-cylinder gasoline engine that generates a 200 hp and 207 lbs-ft. of torque. The US engine option will offer 31 mpg fuel consumption on the highway.

Talking about the design side of new VW, 2012 Volkswagen Eos has a new front fascia, newly styled rear end, new headlights design, a front grille with three shiny black louvers, and two-part LED rear lights with fiber optics technology. Inside, there is new instrument panel, chrome-framed window buttons, walnut wood trim parts and a leather-wrapped multifunction steering wheel and shift knob.
Just a few weeks ago, Volkswagen of Australia revealed images and details of its newly refreshed VW Eos hardtop convertible. The automotive giant claims the 2012 Volkswagen Eos has been "perfected", and the first thing you'll notice about this car is the front and rear fascias, which suffered an alignment with VW's latest releases. Higher trim lines come with walnut wood inserts and "Vienna" leather seats.

The 2012 Volkswagen Eos is powered by the powerful and efficient 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine. The evening before any major auto shows usually means one thing: PARTY! With Cadillac hosting its own event, where they debuted the Urban Luxury Concept, Volkswagen was having its own soiree with the updated Volkswagen Eos.

Aston Martin new Vantage GT4 for 2011

Aston Martin Racing has unleashed a new Vantage GT4 for 2011. The new V8 race car takes design inspiration from Aston Martin's V12 Vantage road car, giving it enhanced aerodynamics and increased downforce.

The Vantage GT4's new splitter increases downforce at the front of the car, as well as channelling cooling air to the brakes and radiator. At the rear, the car gains the V12's larger boot 'flip'.
The new GT4 will be eligible for this Challenge, as well as the European GT4 Cup and all other series with a GT4 class.

Aston Martin has revealed its new Vantage GT4 racing car. It is closely based on Aston’s road-going V8 Vantage coupe, though the new 2011 car benefits from design features of the stunning V12 Vantage. These both enhance the aerodynamics and increase downforce.

Expect a 0-60mph time of around 4.5sec and a 180mph+ top speed.

Meet Aston’s uprated Vantage racer. "Aston martin" has also introduced a race-developed Bosch ABS and traction control system which has been specially developed by Bosch to provide decent performance in both wet and dry conditions.

Aston Martin Racing has announced the launch of its new Vantage GT4 for 2011, based on the marque's V8 Vantage road car but tweaked-up with increased power and enhanced aerodynamics. The 2011 car carries over key attributes from the road car including an aluminium chassis and base engine and suspension design.

Engine and aero upgrades are joined by a race-developed Bosch ABS and traction control system.

Toyota Corolla 2010 Recall?

Toyota Motor Company has issued a recall on select 2010 Corolla and Matrix models but rather than using the dirty “R word”, Toyota is calling this program a Limited Service Campaign. This Limited Service Campaign affects around 9,400 Corolla models and 1,350 Matrix models, with all of them being powered by Toyota’s 2ZR-FE 1.8L 4-cylinder engine. Doesn’t that sound like a recall?
Not a recall by name, but this 2010 Toyota Corolla and Matrix issue could cause owners major problems
According to Reuters, the 10,750 affected 2010 Corolla and Matrix models may have an issue with the early deterioration and disintegration of the serpentine belt that drives the alternator, air condition compressor and most importantly, the water pump. It is not unusual for serpentine belts to break when left unchecked, as the rubber belts are constantly exposed to extreme temperatures which help to increase the wear and tear on the belt.
Toyota has arranged for a “Limited Service Campaign”, which seems more like a polite word for the ominous “Recall” tag, on select 2010 Corolla and Matrix models to fix an accessory belt issue.
The problem originates in the engine accessory belt which is used to transfer force from the engine to the air conditioner.
There are about 9,400 Corollas that could have the accessory belt issue, and 1,350 Matrix vehicles

Acura ZDX Review

The 2010 Acura ZDX is an all-new midsize luxury crossover that competes directly with the BMW X6. Based on the MDX platform, the Acura ZDX is Acura's new flagship SUV. The Acura ZDX appealing exterior is more stylish than most SUVs and it features a surprisingly car-like ride. It sits higher than any sedan but doesn't provide the extra cargo space or rear-seat room sedan owners usually associate with an SUV.

Motor Trend, which named the Acura ZDX as a contender for 2010 Sport/Utility of Year, explains: "If you want an Acura for family road trips, buy an MDX. The ZDX comes with a base price in the mid-$40,000 range.

The 2010 Acura ZDX is a midsize five-passenger crossover SUV. Standard equipment includes 19-inch wheels, automatic xenon headlights, heated outside mirrors, a panoramic sunroof, ambient cabin lighting, a back-up camera with a rearview mirror display, a leather-wrapped multifunction steering wheel, dual-zone automatic climate control, a power tilt-and-telescoping steering column, heated eight-way power front seats, leather seat upholstery and interior trim, a trip computer, Bluetooth and a power liftgate. There are two significant options packages for the Acura ZDX. The Advance package includes these features plus electronically adjustable suspension dampers, a blind-spot warning system, adaptive cruise control, heated and ventilated front seats and a sport steering wheel.

The 2010 ZDX features the same Super Handling All-Wheel Drive (SH-AWD) system found in many Acura products. A six-speed automatic transmission with manual shift control is standard. The Acura ZDX maximum towing capacity is 1,500 pounds.

Standard safety equipment for the 2010 Acura ZDX includes antilock disc brakes with brake assist, stability control, front-seat side airbags, full-length side curtain airbags and active front head restraints.

What was the question? Once you get past the ontological issues, however, the Acura ZDX--like the X6--is actually an interesting car. Priced to start at $42,500 in base trim, it's also the most affordable of the new breed of luxury crossover/hatch/coupes.

The styling itself is often successful--a muscular fender, a graceful turn of the roofline. But its the utility/performance package that really makes the Acura ZDX. Power can be shifted around a lot as well, thanks to the Super-Handling All-Wheel Drive (SH-AWD) system. Wile normal driving sees a typical 90-10 front-rear torque split, up to 70% of the engine's power can be sent rearward when necessary.

Bugatti Veyron Test Drive Accident

That's what happened to this potential Bugatti owner in America, who, with this effort, is challenging for the title of Shortest Test Drive Ever. Some of that may well be from the scraping of the car on the pavement as the car is reversed out.

The driver was slowly edging the Bugatti Veyron on to a congested road with the car dealer guiding him out onto the oncoming traffic due to the 253mph supercar’s terrible blindspots.
As onlookers film the scene on their mobile phones, the Bugatti Veyron rear clips a stationary Toyota Corolla while the front end scrapes the pavement.

The unfortunate accident highlights the risks in having a luxury car dealership in a city centre. Supercars are notoriously low to the ground so driving up and down even minor gradients runs the risk of bumper damage.

This time our hero manages to crash a 1.6 million USD Bugatti Veyron into what looks like a Toyota. As if this was not enough, our talented driver drives the Bugatti Veyron back on the sidewalk, scrapping the front bumper the second time, obviously.

Watch the Bugatti Veyron crash a Toyota in the video after the jump.

This is why you always listen to a spotter when you're pulling out of a driveway in a car with terrible blind spots. Ouch.
Unofficially, the word on the web is that this accident cost the driver over $30,000 to repair. That's a helluva price tag.

2010 Lexus IS F Overview

2010 Lexus IS F Full Review

THE 2010 LEXUS IS F FEELS unburstable, rock solid, ferocious.
In manual mode, its rifle-bolt precision and lightning-fast shifts make DSGs feel soft, and manuals a bit last century...
The big news is the move to a compact Torsen Limited-Slip Differential (LSD) from the pre-update model's electronic limited-slip type.
According to Lexus, the adoption of a mechanical LSD improves both road and track performance. The Lexus IS F blends velvety V8 torque with a crisp-shifting eight-speed automatic. Inside, little has changed.
The centre stack gets updated audio switches and a new fascia around the touch-screen and air-conditioning controls.

As with the former model, the updated Lexus IS F includes active cruise control, hands-free phone connectivity, Smart Key automatic locking and unlocking, dual-zone climate control, Lexus Parking Assist and a power-operated moonroof among its extensive features list.
In lieu of a manual transmission, the eight-speed unit in the Lexus IS F offers both Drive and 'Manual' modes - paired with steering-mounted paddle shifters.
Where the original arrangement offered a 'simulated' limited-slip diff effect by adjusting rear brake balance, the Torsen unit redistributes torque without affecting power.
The brake system features Brembo monobloc aluminium calipers. Six-piston calipers up-front acting on 360mm x 30mm ventilated discs, and twin-piston calipers in the rear acting on 345mm by 28mm ventilated discs.
How does it drive?
The eight-speed automatic is a precision instrument. TMR's Tim O'Brien questioned the old IS-F's mid-corner balance, but I found little to complain about with this updated version. Apart from new foldable head restraints for the rear seats, the 2010 IS F's leather-trimmed seating is identical to its predecessor.
The front seats have been designed to offer a compromise between sports-car support for performance driving, and ultimate comfort.
Interior Quality and Feel?
The leather trim of the front and rear-seats is of high quality; soft to the touch and durable.

Based on the regular IS entry-level luxury sport sedan, the "Lexus IS F" is fortified with all the expected "performance division" upgrades, such as a tire-burning V8, bigger brakes, stiffer suspension tuning and stickier tires.
The 2010 Lexus IS-F high-performance luxury sport sedan is available in only one well-appointed trim level. Standard features include 19-inch alloy wheels shod with sticky tires, Brembo brakes, adaptive xenon headlights, a sunroof, keyless ignition and entry, auto-dimming mirrors, 10-way power heated front leather sport seats with memory settings, dual-zone automatic climate control and a 13-speaker audio system with satellite radio, Bluetooth audio, a six-CD changer, iPod integration and an auxiliary audio jack.
EPA fuel economy estimates are 16 mpg city/23 mpg highway and 18 mpg in combined driving.
The 2010 Lexus IS-F comes equipped with antilock brakes with brake assist, stability control, traction control, front-seat side and knee airbags and full-length side curtain airbags. Optional is a pre-collision system paired with the adaptive radar cruise control that senses an impending collision and automatically adjusts seatbelt tension and braking force.
The IS-F has not been crash-tested, but in government testing, its IS 350 sibling was awarded four stars out of five for driver and front passenger protection in frontal impacts as well as rear side impacts.

2011 Hyundai Elantra Test Drive

Hyundai’s impressive product push continues unabated. John wasn’t even breathing hard as he greeted me effortlessly cruising up the hill. Designer of both cars, Cedric d’Andre, describes the design language they call “fluidic sculpture” that characterizes the current generation of Hyundais. Character lines move around the car drawing it tightly into a graceful, aesthetic, efficient whole.
Interior design reflects the same design philosophy. Moving the cowl forward, increasing the wheel base by a couple of inches and designing in every space advantage they could conceive puts interior volume for Hyundai Elantra technically into the mid-size category. The 60/40 split rear seat makes for efficient expansion of the large trunk. Even with the front seats fully back most rear seat passengers will be comfortable. It’s amazing how roomy they’ve made this “compact” car.

The Hyundai Elantra felt great on the highway and on level roads but once off I-8 and into the mountain two-lanes I felt like we needed a bit more power. Driving dynamics are excellent. (Hyundai has its own Steel plant and 400 metallurgists working on new uses for the hard metal.) A great deal of effort went into making Elantra quiet. What the Hyundai folks are most proud of are the mileage numbers posted confidently by Elantra. The basic car with six-speed manual transmission and no extras (it’s reasonably well equipped without extras) comes in at under $15,000.

Obviously, the new Hyundai Elantra styling is the big story. Base models start at $15,625, making the Hyundai Elantra one of the least-expensive compact sedans on the market, and undercutting the Kia Forte -- a distant mechanical relative of the Hyundai Elantra -- by $65. At the high end of the scale is the $20,775 Elantra Limited, which includes leather seats (heated in front and in back!), a sunroof, alloy wheels, and an automatic transmission.

The "Hyundai Elantra" 148 hp 1.8 liter engine provides a perfect blend of power and fuel economy. Overall, I'm quite pleased with the new Elantra. How does the Hyundai Elantracompare to the big dogs in the segment?

With the 2011 Hyundai Elantra, the company is attempting to take that box of compromise and shake it all about. Hyundai's taking the fight to the compact side of the sedan spectrum with the new Elantra, the latest in the reinvention of its model range. The Elantra's visual presence suggests confidence. Although similar to the outgoing Elantra in width and length, the 2011 Hyundai Elantra chops nearly 2 inches out of the height and instead adds it to the wheelbase. The subdued aggression of the nose, the long wheelbase, sharp character lines — this is definitely not a toylike small car.

Styling nits to pick? The "2011 Hyundai Elantra" simply looks terrific in the metal.
Also of note — rear seat heaters. Yep, and they're standard on the Elantra Limited.

Hyundai is quite proud of the Hyundai Elantra 29 city/40 highway mpg, taking great pains to point out that those fuel economy numbers apply to all Elantras regardless of transmission, trim level, wheel size or even paint color. No premium need be paid for a special high-efficiency version as with the Cruze Eco or Fiesta with the Super Fuel Economy package. Not so the Hyundai Elantra. Although it delivers fully class-competitive power, the Elantra's engine still relies on revs to tackle large hills or freeway merging situations. A six-speed manual is standard on base models, but the six-speed automatic is optional on the GLS and standard on the Limited.
The front suspension consists of MacPherson struts up front and there's a twist-beam rear suspension. This compact rear suspension allows for ample cargo volume of 14.8 cubic feet.
Surprisingly, Hyundai fitted monotube dampers to the Hyundai Elantra rear suspension rather than cheaper twin-tube dampers. The fundamental goodness of the Elantra's chassis is, er, good.
Two Trim Levels, Many Choices

Like the Sonata, the "Hyundai Elantra" will be offered in two trim levels, GLS and Limited. Optioned smartly, the Hyundai Elantra is more than just a lot of car for the money.

SEMA 2010, KIA Forte Koup Type R.

It seems that the Koreans also like this name, recently used for the concept presented at SEMA 2010, KIA Forte Koup Type R.

For now, KIA Forte is doing well on the North American market, so it couldn’t have missed the biggest tunning auto show in USA, SEMA 2010, where the Koreans came with the KIA Forte Koup Type R Concept.

KIA Forte Koup Type R Concept was developed in a collaboration with their racing partner, Kinetic Motorsports, which handles the KIA Forte Koup models, competing in GRAND-AM Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge.

The interior of the KIA Forte Koup Type R Concept benefits from the racing treatment, with sports seats, carbon insertions and new pedals and gear shifter.
We are talking about the Kia Koup Type R Concept.

This is a project inspired by Kia’s racing vehicles that take part in the GRAND-AM Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge, also being offered as a study that demonstrates Kia vehicles’ tuning potential.

“Developed by Kinetic Motorsports, who built and campaigns Kia's Forte Koup race cars, the Type R features dramatically enhanced exterior panels that exaggerate the existing body lines, including the front fenders, rocker panels and rear quarter panels,” stated the press release.

The vehicle rides on BBS RG 18-inch forged aluminum alloy rims, using motorsport-inspired tires, as well as a racing suspension.

Kia Motors America (KMA) said it rolled out its attention-grabbing lineup of concept and production-intent vehicles at the 2010 Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show in Las Vegas to further showcase the company’s eye-catching new generation of vehicles.

“A combination of value, safety and technology with plentiful standard equipment, the 2011 Soul White Tiger takes design cues from this year’s Asian Lunar year animal – the Tiger – and dramatically combines an all-white exterior with one-of-a-kind tiger-themed graphics and a contrasting jet black leather interior.

“Soul White Tiger Concept builds off of the Soul+ (plus) model with fog lamps, body coloured bumpers, sport spoiler, black fender vents, rear bumper cat claw appliqué, alloy fuel door and features white-finish 18-inch alloy wheels to complete its expressive look. On the inside, the Soul White Tiger will captivate its passengers with its push-button start, black leather seating surfaces and heated front seats. “A true game-changer for the Kia brand, the Soul was the first vehicle launched under KMA’s ongoing design-led transformation and kicked off the most aggressive new vehicle launch cycle in the automotive industry, which continues through 2011.

Kia’s model year 2011 vehicle line includes the Sorento CUV, Sportage compact CUV, Optima midsize sedan, Soul urban passenger vehicle, Forte compact sedan, Forte 5-door compact hatchback, Forte Koup two-door coupe, Rio sub-compact sedan, Rio5 sub-compact hatchback and Sedona minivan,” he said.

2011 Audi A7 Review

Audi unveils its latest offering into the four door coupe style via the all new 2011 Audi A7, which the manufacturers hope will be able to compete with Mercedes-Benz CLS. Meanwhile, the engine has been transferred onto the front/rear to produce more balance in weight distribution.

Among the headline features for the 2011 Audi A7 is the Quattro all wheel drive, electronic driving aids, multilink rear suspension, and gorgeous interiors that is a staple for the Audi brand. There were also a few advanced incorporations into this vehicle model that enable it to compete against the premium ranks in the market, such as lane departure or blind spot warning systems, sports seat, high efficiency LED lighting on the front and rear sides of the vehicle, and home quality infotainment system.

In terms of powertrain, the "2011 Audi A7 offers a wide range of gasoline or diesel engine choices. Release Date of 2011 Audi A7"

Bavaria's "other" car company is in the midst of a product offensive that will double Audi's model count by 2012. Which explains the 2011 Audi A7, a stylish new low-roof sedan designed to answer the Mercedes CLS and a similar "four-door coupe" expected from BMW. Word is that Audi will show a lightly disguised concept version at the 2008 New York Auto Show next April. It also underpins Audi's next-generation A4 compact cars and a new Q5 compact crossover SUV, all due in 2009
Headline features will include standard Audi Quattro all-wheel drive, multilink rear suspension, an alphabet soup of electronic driving aids, the usual gorgeous Audi interior-with seating for four only-and unique styling with a sweeping fastback roofline and a hunkered-down wheels-at-the-corners stance.
Audi has a wide range of gasoline and diesel engines it could use in the A7. The transmission? A seven- or even eight-speed automatic seems a safe bet, but don't rule out an updated edition of the Audi R-Tronic automated manual used in the new mid-engine Audi R8 supercar.
A Notable Feature of the 2011 Audi A7
The 2011 Audi A7 may spring an innovation or two, though no one-probably not even Audi-can be sure just now.

2011 Honda Civic Review

Goto Honda Dealer Search and Give your Address or the Zip Code of the location where you reside. With Toyota marred with the recalls that spot seems to have gone to Honda Civic. In a fashion similar to th 2011 Honda Civic, the 2011 Honda Civic, likely to be launched in August or September 2011 will body styles that will be similar to the 2010 Honda Civic.
2011 Honda Civic review

The 2011 Honda Civic should return essentially unchanged from 2010 as Honda prepares to launch an all-new 2012 Honda Civic. This tabs the 2011 Civic as a lame duck navigating the compact-car waters with a design that dates to model-year 2006. The 2011 Civic will repeat sedan and coupe body styles and again be available as a gas-electric hybrid sedan. Slightly larger than the coupe, the Civic sedan is roomier and rides softer. Should you wait for the 2011 Honda Civic or buy a 2010 Honda Civic?

Styling: The 2011 Honda Civic styling should carry over from 2010 with only a few new exterior colors to distinguish the two model years. The Civic four-door is notably roomy, with particularly generous rear-seat room for a compact car. Mechanical: The 2011 Civic powertrain lineup should segue into 2011 intact. Several have six-speed manual and automatic transmissions versus Civic’s less-efficient five-speed units. Optimists hope Honda will mark the end of this Civic design cycle by adding a high-performance model. The 2011 Honda Civic Hybrid will return as a sedan only and combine a 1.3-liter gas engine with an electric motor for a total of 110 horsepower. The Civic Hybrid employs a continuously variable transmission, or CVT. This Civic GX sedan has a 113-horspower 1.8-liter powered exclusively by natural gas.

Features: Honda doesn’t offer stand-alone options, instead grouping features to create individual trim levels. The various 2011 Civic models should continue with the familiar range of features. Antiskid control to stabilize the car in turns is standard on EX-L, Hybrid, and Si models. Alloy wheels, steering-wheel-mounted auxiliary audio controls, rear disc brakes, and remote keyless entry are among available features, depending on model.

Porsche 911 overview

2010 Porsche 911 Review
Porsche purists still consider the Porsche 911 the only "real" Porsche.
The Porsche 911 received a refresh for 2009. Porsche upgraded the engines, introduced a new dual-clutch automated manual transmission (known as PDK), improved the electronics interface and added a slew of new features, including a hill holder, ventilated seats, Bluetooth and an iPod interface. There are multiple models available for the current Porsche 911. The high-performance 911 editions are less commuter-friendly, but they offer performance and handling on par with exotic supercars. Used Porsche 911 Models
The all-wheel-drive Carrera 4 and 4S arrived for '06, while the Targa, GT3, Turbo and limited-edition GT3 RS followed the next year. The GT2 emerged for '08.
The previous (ninth) generation Porsche 911 (1999-2004) marked the first time water cooling was used for the car's flat-six engine. This era also brought a glass-topped targa model and saw the Turbo put out 400 hp and adopt all-wheel drive. The seventh-generation car (1990-'94) brought smoothly integrated bumpers along with available all-wheel drive and the Tiptronic automatic gearbox. Standard Carreras at this time were pumping out 247 hp, while the Turbo's output ranged from 315-355 hp.
The 2010 Porsche 911 Carrera ranks 1 out of 8 Super Luxury Sports Cars. This ranking is based on our analysis of 84 published reviews and test drives of the Porsche 911 Carrera, and our analysis of reliability and safety data.
The 2010 Porsche 911 Carrera balances luxury with power and agility like few cars can. True sports car enthusiasts will agree, the 2010 Porsche 911 is a must-have, no-questions-asked purchase.
Not surprisingly, auto writers are unanimous in their praise of the 2010 Porsche 911 Carrera.
Shoppers in the market for a super luxury sports car should also consider the Mercedes-Benz SL550. Like the 2010 Porsche 911 Carrera, the SL550 is a luxurious and capable machine.

2011 Lincoln MKZ Hybrid

We like the Ford Fusion Hybrid -- a lot. Enter stage left, the "2011 Lincoln MKZ Hybrid", which is making its big debut in the Big Apple.

The2011 Lincoln MKZ Hybrid will be Lincoln's first hybrid when it hits showrooms this fall. It's essentially a Fusion Hybrid with Lincoln luxury appointments and exterior style. Its parallel hybrid powertrain -- a 2.5-liter Atkinson-cycle I-4 hybrid engine that works in concert with an electric motor to produce 191 net horsepower -- is unchanged from the Fusion version. Oh, and Lincoln's version uses white flowers inspired by apple blossoms. Pretty!

The MKZ Hybrid is also endowed with all the latest in Lincoln standard luxury touches, including Lincoln's version of Sync, heated and cooled seats with 10-way power passenger seat, real wood trim (that of course comes from eco-friendly managed forests), a reverse sensing system and Lincoln's Personal Safety System -- a suite of seven safety technologies.

From the “Well, Duh” Department at Ford Motor Company comes the new hybrid version of the Lincoln MKZ. The 2011 Lincoln MKZ Hybrid is fitted with the same gasoline-electric system found in the hybrid versions of its corporate twins, the Ford Fusion and Mercury Milan.

The hybrid powertrain combines a 156-hp, 2.5-liter four-cylinder gas engine and 106-hp electric motor for a total system output of 191 hp; it’s rated for 41 mpg in the city and 36 on the highway in the Fusion and Milan variants. In the Milan and Fusion hybrids, a screen-based botanical garden grows leaves and vines as a reward for fuel-efficient driving; the Lincoln adds pretty flowers! What’s next, rain-forest fragrances emanating from the HVAC system?

Renault Fluence is following the philosophy of Dacia Logan. Renault Fluence will also be offered in Israel too. Renault Fluence is a relatively large car and it is between C and D segment. With this car Renault likes to bring a more space for the passengers in the relatively small package. In the cabin there are 9 liter refrigerated glove box in front of the front passenger and 2.2 liters of space in the central console. The interior of the Renault Fluence is modern but simple.

Driver can adjust the driver seat by 240 mm fore/aft and 35 mm in height. He can choose to enter the car with a key or to use wireless system and enter the car hands free with a card which transmits the signals to the car. The new “2010 Renault Fluence” will have excellent choice of engines. Actually it is the one 1.5 dCi diesel engine in five variants. Outstanding stopping power and durability is achieved by the effective braking system.

2010 Nissan Altima Reviews

The 2010 Nissan Altima ranks 11 out of 21 Affordable Midsize Cars. This ranking is based on our analysis of 81 published reviews and test drives of the Nissan Altima, and our analysis of reliability and safety data.

The 2010 Nissan Altima is one of just a handful of family sedans that reviewers consistently call fun-to-drive. "Nissan estimates that 65 percent of Altima buyers are male (as opposed to roughly the same proportion of female buyers for the Toyota Camry), and its bolder styling and more subdued interior reflects an adherence to its somewhat masculine personality." Reviewers love the 2010 Nissan Altima's crisp handling.

Sedan buyers should note that the four-door Altima is no longer offered with a manual transmission. The Altima is also available as a sporty-looking coupe. In the affordable midsize car class, only the Honda Accord and the Altima offer two-door options.
The 2010 Nissan Altima sedan is available as a stripped-down base 2.5 model, a well-equipped 2.5S, or a V6-powered 3.5SR. That price could send some buyers into the upscale midsize car class instead.

Middle America has recognized and rewarded Nissan’s Altima for its conservative, yet nice looking design, excellent engineering, good engine, quality manufacturing and fair value pricing – how many not so good but expensive wines have you tasted? Nissan has refreshed the Altima where it needed fixing and improved qualities and characteristics that needed improving including new exterior styling, nicer interiors, better infotainment system options and new technological innovations.

I like the change Nissan made in the Altima’s styling. The smooth Xtonic CVT transmission in this vehicle is innovative technology that seamlessly controls the vehicle's gearing resulting in smooth, consistent acceleration at any speed.

The Altima also comes with all the safety features you have come to expect including AABS, side curtain supplemental air bags, ABS, traction control and vehicle dynamic control.

Despite all its features and the impressive engine, Nissan did not forget the fuel economy and the Altima is NITSA rated 20 MPG city and 27 MPG highway.

The 2010 Nissan Altima continues the tradition, offering great value for your money. The 2010 Altima is offered in sedan, coupe, and hybrid models, and should be offered for sale to the general public this fall. The 2010 Nissan Altima gas-powered vehicles are available in 4-cylinder and 6-cylinder models. Both cars come with a traction control system, four-wheel antilock brakes, and high performance suspension. The suspension on the 3.5 SE sedans and coupes performs a little stiffly when driving on rough surfaces, although the 2.5 model rides well. With today’s gas prices, gas mileage can make or break a decision to buy the car. The manual transmission 3.5 SE achieved between 23 and 25 mpg. The high mpg Altima is a hybrid model that achieves 29 miles per gallon in primarily city conditions. The "2010 Nissan Altima" is packed with more than 50 safety features, all coming standard. The Altima comes with dual stage supplemental air bags in the front. Inside the 2010 Nissan Altima, sedans keep the road noise to a controlled level, while the coupes are a little louder. The controls to the stereo and climate system are easy to use on models that don’t contain the navigation system. The 2010 Nissan Altima offers a lot of features, including a Bose audio system and steering wheel-mounted controls.

The new 2011 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution

The new 2011 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution
The Evo X SE packs the same TC-SST transmission as its 335i-challenging sibling, complete with three driving modes – Normal, Sport and Super-Sport – channeling all 291 horsepower and 300 pound-feet of torque to its S-AWC all-wheel drive system.

Inside, cloth Recaros come standard – our preferred choice compared to the MR's leather-lined thrones.

Want a dual clutch transmission in your "Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution" X, but lack the scratch to spring for the high-end Evolution MR or MR Touring? Power from the turbocharged 2.0-liter I-4 stays at 291 horsepower and 300 pound-feet of torque, and the SE is still equipped with Mitsubishi's S-AWC all-wheel-drive system.

Cosmetically, the car is assuredly a Franken-Evo. The Lancer Evolution SE uses the front fascia from the base Evolution GSR, along with its wheels and black side vents, but it does receive the rear lip spoiler from the MR Touring. Cloth Recaro seats are standard, and Mitsubishi's navigation system -- shown in these photos -- remains an option.

At $36,445, the Lancer Evolution SE is about $2000 more than a GSR, but if you're hankering for that slick transmission, this is the way to do it on a budget. MR models -- previously the only Evo to use the transmission -- typically run $5000 more than the entry-level Evo.

Look for the 2011 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution SE to arrive at dealerships nationwide this September.
The "new 2011 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution" X SE (Special Edition) goes on sale this September, priced from $36,445 (including a $745 destination charge).
On the outside the car is fitted with the base model GSR’s front cowling, wheels and blacked out side vents.

2012 Ford Focus production in Germany until early 2012

Ford Motor Co. continues the global rollout of the new Ford Focus with production for Europe starting today.
The compact car, as a sedan and five-door hatchback, has already begun early production for North America at Ford's Michigan Assembly Plant.
Western European markets will source their cars from Ford's Saarlouis Assembly Plant in Germany, which will make the sedan, hatch and wagon. "Saarlouis is proud to have been the lead plant for Ford Focus production in Europe since the first model was launched in 1998."
Ford has sold more than 10 million Ford Focuses globally.
The punchy Focus ST variant won't enter production in Germany until early 2012, however.

The final piece in Ford's global puzzle for the Focus will be production at new plants in Chongqing, China, and Rayong, Thailand. That will complete the five-plant, three-continent, 120-market roll-out of the Focus, making it one of the most truly "global" cars on the market.

Though the standard Focus sedan and hatch will no doubt be interesting cars, we're waiting for the hot-hatch ST, so we still have a long year's wait ahead of us.
It's about time for the new global 2012 Ford Focus to hit the streets, and Germany has entered production to fill European demand.
The Saarlouis plant in the southwest German region of Saarland will build the Focus sedan, hatchback (ST hot hatch joins the line in early 2012), and wagon exclusively for the European market. To help reach those numbers, Ford extended permanent offers to 500 temporary contract workers.

"This is an important day for Ford, the Saarland and for Germany," said Ken Macfarlane, Ford of Europe's VP of manufacturing. Saarlouis, also home to the Kuga, joins Ford's Michigan Assembly Plant located in Wayne as the current hubs for the 2012 Ford Focus.
Production of the" 2012 Ford Focus" has started in Germany ahead of the vehicle’s showroom debut early next year.
Ford invested 300 million euros ($403 million) in modernising the Saarlouis Assembly Plant for Focus production, and the project has created 500 new jobs. The plant also manufacturers the Ford Kuga compact SUV.
Early production of the Focus sedan and hatch has also commenced at Ford’s Michigan Assembly Plant.
Australian Focus models will initially be sourced from the Saarlouis plant. Built on Ford’s global C-segment platform, the Focus will make up a large proportion of the two-million-plus C-segment vehicles produced annually by Ford by 2012.

2012 Volkswagen Beetle

New 2012 Volkswagen Beetle info has surfaced today as the next generation model was spied almost completely undisguised. Unfortunately, the details of the 2012 Volkswagen Beetle are scarce at the moment. various Sources are reporting that the 2012 Volkswagen Beetle will offer a range of petrol and diesel engines, including a 1.2 TSI with 105 hp, a 1.4 TSI with 160 hp, and a more powerful 2.0 TSI with 210 hp. The diesel range of the 2012 Volkswagen Beetle will include a 1.6 TDI with 105 hp, and a 2.0 TDI with 140 hp. VW's trick DSG gearbox is also expected to make its debut on the "2012 Volkswagen Beetle"

Volkswagen's upcoming onslaught of new products includes a redesign for the New Beetle. This design let VW engineers lengthen the roof line and create more room inside the car.
For comparison purposes, here's a look at the current New Beetle.

2011 Lincoln MKX First Drive

From a styling aspect, the 2007-2010 "Lincoln MKX was a curious blend of 1962 Continental, 1995 Town Car and modern crossover SUV, thanks to it’s full width front grille and LED taillight assembly that ran across the rear hatch opening.

For 2011, the "Lincoln MKX" adopts the current Lincoln corporate profile, with a much more aggressive nose profile that apes the Lincoln MKX. For the former, there’s an 8-inch liquid crystal display which contains controls to the vehicle’s info/entertainment system and climate control, activated purely by finger touch - hence the name. As befitting a current Lincoln product, a THX sound system is included, as is the latest version of the Ford’s SYNC voice command system, activated by buttons in the steering wheel, plus a new first – High Definition radio.

The info/entertainment system is one of the least fussy we’ve encountered on a luxury branded vehicle of late, which should bode well for Lincoln’s target audience, especially considering that on many competitors, it’s getting harder and harder to perform basic vehicle functions such as changing cabin temperature or selecting music.

A leather-stitched dashboard is a new feature; blending in with the revised center stack.
Thanks to a lower idle speed (600 rpm), fuel shut-off and a variable-displacement power steering pump, the engine is notably more thrifty than the old 3.5 and Lincoln claims best in class fuel economy at 19 miles per gallon city/ 26 highway on front-drive models

The result is an Lincoln MKX that is noticeably quieter and even smoother riding than before. Thanks to new tires mounted on standard 18-inch wheels, grip is noticeably better than before and even in base front-drive form, the Lincoln MKX feels surprisingly neutral.

Lincoln is expanding their line up with seven new, or completely refreshed vehicles being introduced into the market over the next four years. I think Lincoln is off to a great start. This mid-size crossover is beautiful. The front end has a sculpted, updated look. The distinguishing split-wing grille lets everyone know that this is a Lincoln.

Step inside and the interior updates are another great improvement!

The centre stack is surrounded by upgraded soft touch materials, chrome accents and genuine stitching on the leather. The fit and finish is absolutely exquisite.

MyLincoln Touch has an eight inch LCD touch screen, media hub with two USB ports, RCA video input jacks and SD card reader and five-way controls on the steering wheel

Ford says that the new models will bring genuinely distinctive bodies -- not just fascias and soft points -- over shared mechanicals, much like Lincoln’s MKT three-row crossover related to the Ford Flex. By dropping the old egg-crate grille in favor of Lincoln’s signature split-wing opening, the Lincoln MKX strengthens the brand’s visual identity. As significant as the exterior update is, the interior refresh has even more impact. Lincoln designers and product planners were well aware that the outgoing model lacked the effortless style and luxury of a well-executed premium interior. Heated and cooled front seats are standard and heated rear seats are an option. The Lincoln MKX rolls on standard 18-inch wheels or optional 20-inch wheels.
