A 4-speed automatic transmission is offered as standard option on all the 2010 Liberty models, along with a 3.7 liter V6 engine to produce a decent power level of 210 hp.

Both the models have the feature of low range gearing for use off-road tracks. The new Liberty has the option of Sky Slider, which is a canvas roof that can be opened onto the seating rows of the vehicle, and this impressive sky slider is retractable.
