Sports Coupe - Z28 Chevrolet Camaro LS1 V8

Z28 Chevrolet Camarore LS1 V8 Sports Coupe
The MK IV Chevrolet Camaro retained the same layout as the very first Camaro's back in 1967, 2-doors, 2+2 seating, rear-wheel drive, choice of V6 and V8 powerplants, and available in both coupe and convertible forms (the convertible was introduced in 1994).

The fourth-generation Chevrolet Camaro debuted for the 1993 model year on the previous generation Camaro platform.

The MK4 Camaro featured the 5.7 L (350 cid) LT1 V8 engine that had been introduced in the Corvette one year earlier, as well as an optional six-speed manual transmission. The 1998 model year was refreshed and revised with both exterior and engine changes. Replacing the LT1 was GM's all-new 5.7 L (346 cid) LS1 which had been introduced with the Corvette C5.
The Camaro is to return in 2009 however as a retro styled sports coupe.

The fourth-gen Camaro would last up through the 2002 model year, at which point production was stopped due to slow sales.

The Four - Corvette Elegant

Several senior General Motors executives are actuation for the Holden Commodore-based Pontiac G8 sedan to come back to America as a high-performance Chevrolet. GM Vice President Bob Lutz describes it as a \"four-door Corvette.\"

\"There's a existence of [the Pontiac G8 reaching back as] a high-end Chevrolet sedan that would be sold in limited numbers,\" Lutz told planetary media at the Detroit auto show. Volume would be limited because \"with the U.S. fuel economy legislation, we just can't give to sell too many of them.\"

Lutz is a great follower of Holden's rear-drive Commodore sedan, which is available in individual high-performance variants. \"The stimulate of high-performance driving is unmatched by anything that doesn't have rear drive, bags of torque, and a nice transmission,\" he says. \"I think of it as a four-door Corvette.\"

Lutz says the Commodore-based Chevy climb litter could be on understanding \"well within five years\" but declined to be more specific on timing. \"I'd prefer to let Holden tell you when they're going to do their next esthetical job,\" he said.

Earlier at the Detroit show, Mike Simcoe, the Australian-born head of GM's North American organisation studio, also hinted that the Shawnee G8 would \"probably make a rattling pleasant Chevrolet.\" While at Holden, Simcoe led the organisation aggroup that developed the Commodore.

\"There is dead a chance the Commodore could come back to America,\" says Mark Reuss, the new chair of GM North America. \"I would love to hit that car here.\"

Reuss, who headlike GM's Holden activeness in Australia until September and is intimately familiar with the Commodore program, says there is no impediment to bringing the car back other than the number of vehicles GM wants to put into the Chevy portfolio.

Chevrolet Matiz 550hp

General Motors has no idea that their baby Chevrolet Matiz is now capable of slaying their greatest giant the Corvette.

It's not an officially-manufactured car but it will take care of some serious supercars in any straight-line battle.

Created by Fourdin Auto Sport founder, Yves Fourdin, and a few friends, this Matiz was the result of 1,500 hours of hard work by people who are not even engineers but motorsport enthusiasts. Best of all they used no computers for their achievement.

Using the Matiz as a base, Fourdin and his team installed a 7.0-litre V8 straight out of a Corvette Z06. It makes 550hp (404kW) to blast the Matiz from 0 - 100km/h in a swift 3.7 seconds. The 0 - 200km/h time is 10.94 seconds while terminal velocity is 260km/h (162mph).

No details on its track performance were released so there's no telling how it takes to corners, bar a glimpse of it taking that long curve on the video. The car was finished in August 2008 and is currently being shown at the International Racing Show Liège in Belgium.

Chevrolet Sail

So far the Sail is mainly for the Chinese market.
But it does look like some new Aveo of some sort to me.
So we might actually get this over here one way or another.

I'm sure the "new GM" will try to import any small car they make and see what sticks.
This looks like it came out about 10 years ago.
Pretty much like most compact sedans out there....
