The Russian office of the company Hyundai has published prices for hatchback Solaris. The cost of the car in the base amount to 443,000 rubles (with a “machine” – 463 thousand), which is 44,000 more expensive sedan. The top version of the machine will cost 614,000 rubles. Orders for the new product will take on May 18, and car dealers will be from 1 June.
Hatchback Solaris will be offered in four trim levels – Classic, Active (from 487 000 rubles), Style (from 523 rubles) and Dynamic. The standard equipment will include air bags for driver and front passenger, ABS, front electric windows, immobilizer, and sound system to four speakers. In the maximum configuration will further stabilization system, rear parking sensors, climate control, access to the interior without a key, key audio controls on the steering wheel and the ability to connect mobile phone via Bluetooth.
In the line engines new items are two petrol engine in volume of 1,4 and 1,6 liter, developing 107 and 123 horsepower respectively. The motors can be paired with a five “mechanics” or quad-speed automatic transmission. Similar power plants are available for the sedan.
Production of the hatchback Hyundai Solaris will start at the company’s plant near St. Petersburg in May this year. Version of this model with four-body began to gather in mid-January 2011. The most affordable sedan Solaris is now worth 399,000 rubles, while the top version will cost 604,000 rubles.
As a result of April this year, car Hyundai Solaris became the biggest-selling foreign car in Russia. During the month dealers sold 9,296 of these machines, while the first four months of this model has sold in 19 000 464 copies.
