The luxury car legend that is Rolls-Royce has presented us with yet another exotic beauty to add to their collection-the 200EX. Reviews are in for the new Rolls-Royce, and we are adding to them.
The 200EX stems from the experimental prototypes that the company created during the pre-war era, albeit more modern. The official debut of the Rolls 200EX is scheduled for the Geneva Motor Show next month, with the production model expected to emerge at the Frankfurt Motor Show later in the year.
The interior is impressive, as one would expect from a Rolls. Luxury amenities come standard in this model, including frosted lamps, violin key switchgear, chrome door handles and an ergonomic roller-ball controller for the systems. The interior of a luxury car is equally important to the exterior, now let's get to that.
The 200EX is unmistakably a Rolls-Royce, boasting design cues derived from the Phantom and the Drophead Coupe. The new member to the Rolls family is more compact than its predecessors, measuring in at 212.6 inches long, 83 inches wide and 61 inches tall. This new size option should help the luxury brand in its marketing endeavors, enabling it to reach new buyers with daintier preferences.
The wheelbase is 129.7 inches, and the 200EX boasts beautiful seven-spoke, 20-inch wheels. Exact engine specs should be available by the Frankfurt Motor Show, as they are still in deliberations we assume. Rumor has it that the Rolls 200EX will be powered by an all-new V12 engine. It certainly seems to be following the BMW 7 Series platform.
The new Rolls-Royce 200EX proves yet again that they are the standard in the luxury motoring realm. Further detail will emerge as we get closer to the official release. For more information on Rolls-Royce rentals and more, follow link to our luxury blog and luxury rental cars.
